Cartier, after hours at the National Gallery
Red scribble shaped like a broad zigzag line with rounded edges.
Caravaggio. Artemisia. And dinner waiting beneath them. For Bucherer and Cartier, we turned Christmas at the National Gallery into a slow reveal, moving 50 guests through art, jewellery and architecture before arriving somewhere entirely unexpected.
The word RESONATE in large, light blue, blurred capital letters.
Among the Old Masters
Red scribble shaped like a broad zigzag line with rounded edges.
Cartier bellboys welcomed guests at the Portico before candlelit stairs led them into the Barry Rooms. A brushed-gold bar and Cartier showcases were woven through the space, allowing the collection to be discovered naturally over drinks rather than formally presented.

Art After Hours

Red scribble shaped like a broad zigzag line with rounded edges.
Then, the journey continued. A private walk through the galleries paused at two significant works before the doors opened onto Gallery 32. Caravaggio. Artemisia. And one long table waiting beneath them.

A Masterpiece of an Evening

Red scribble shaped like a broad zigzag line with rounded edges.
Cartier's red and gold came through in rich velvet, antique finishes, deep burgundy florals and warm candlelight. Festive, but deliberately restrained, allowing the art, architecture and jewellery to remain at the centre of the experience. Hand-calligraphed names made every place setting personal. A string quartet moved from classical to contemporary throughout the evening. Christmas gifts marked the final moment as guests departed. A Christmas world revealed one room at a time.
