Cartier and Watches of Switzerland, a century in summer
Red scribble shaped like a broad zigzag line with rounded edges.
One hundred years of history, seen in the colours of right now. To mark 100 years of Watches of Switzerland, we created a private Cartier evening at Old Sessions House that celebrated the past without feeling nostalgic.
The word RESONATE in large, light blue, blurred capital letters.
Summer at Sessions House

The house gave us the starting point. Faded grandeur, French Renaissance details and layers of history, met with a contemporary summer palette of cream, yellow, coral, red and burgundy.

A Century in Colour

Cartier bellboys welcomed guests before candlelit walkways led upstairs to the Showroom. Here, Cartier pieces sat alongside a storytelling installation tracing 1924 to 2024. In the adjoining Salon, the pace slowed, creating a quieter space to sit, discover and try on the collection. The Great Room became the final setting for 64 guests, with seasonal flowers in clear glass bud vases bringing colour through the space, layered with candlelight, glass lanterns and understated tableware.

A Hundred Years, Still in Bloom

Heritage was the reason for gathering. It didn’t need to dictate how the evening looked. A centenary could easily look backwards. This one looked like the height of summer.
